MTS – ML Engineer (Computer Vision)

Job Description

• Responsible for designing and building production class deep learning models applied to computer vision problems
• Guide and mentor junior engineers on the team
• Key contributor in developing POCs and solutions for new use cases

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 6+ years of overall experience with at least 4+ years of hands-on experience in Computer Vision
• Design and development of end-to-end machine learning pipeline including data extraction, automated labeling, training of deep learning model and deployment
• Extensive experience in image processing techniques using OpenCV
• Prior experience in taking at least one solution to production from Concept to Deployment
• Good breadth and depth of knowledge in various deep learning algorithms in the field of Computer Vision
• Extensive hands-on experience in TensorFlow and Keras
• Proficient in Python language
• Hands-on experience in GPU acceleration and system design skills for efficient machine learning pipeline
• Strong foundation in software engineering with top-notch skills in design patterns, code optimization and debugging
• Experience working in Linux environment and proficient in state-of-art DevOps practices/tools
• Good knowledge of statistics relevant to Deep Learning and ability to use the right statistical measures to assess model’s performance
• Awareness of latest research/advances in the field and ability to apply them
• Drive to address complex problems with technical solutions that work
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
• Desire to work in a highly collaborative, innovative, small team
• Strong initiative, self-starter, quick-learner, proactive contributor
• Excellent presentation and written / oral communication skills

ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE SKILLS

• Working knowledge in at least one of PyTorch, Caffe, MXNet
• Experience in GPU acceleration and CUDA programming
• Contributions to github / Open Source community, participation in Kaggle contests
• Experience in C/C++/Java
