Vice President (VP) of Sales
OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a VP – Sales with a strong background in the supply chain industry and extensive experience in the Indian market. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of sales professionals, developing and implementing sales strategies, and achieving revenue targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Indian market and supply chain industry trends, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective delivery of products and services to customers.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reporting and recommendations to senior management.
- Develop and manage sales budgets, forecasting revenue and expenses.
- Participate in industry events and conferences, representing the company and promoting its products and services.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor`s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 12-15 years of strong experience in sales, with a proven track record of achieving revenue targets.
- Experience working in the supply chain industry, with a strong understanding of supply chain processes and operations.
- Extensive experience in the Indian market, with a deep understanding of Indian business culture and practices.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and develop strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Experience in budget management, with the ability to forecast revenue and expenses.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
